We get the job done.
Our work is meaningful, creative and relevant. We’ve been doing it
for 20 years.

Crocker & Crocker has reinvented public and consumer engagement for over 20 years. We climb inside a person’s mind, heart and soul. We get their attention. We get them thinking and feeling in such a way that we create behavior change.

Whether it’s a consumer transaction, building awareness or handling tough controversial issues, we get the job done. It’s all about results. You can tally it, see it, hear it, measure it. Easy? No. Fully Charged? Yes.

The firm, started 20 years ago by Lucy Eidam Crocker, was originally LucyCo Communications. Lucy added Scot Crocker as a partner in 2011 and changed the name to Crocker & Crocker. Scot had formerly owned the ad agency Crocker/Flanagan.

The Crocker & Crocker crew consists of the most talented professionals (of course) in the communications field. We have the left brain and the right brain working together in one firm. On one side, it’s data, analysis and strategy. On the flip side, it’s creativity, design and blockbuster ideas. Together, it’s a fully charged team dedicated to problem solving, client service and successful projects, programs and campaigns.

Lucy Eidam Crocker

Lucy Eidam Crocker is Northern California’s leading social marketing, public outreach and public affairs strategist. For almost three decades, she’s managed flood control, water rate increase, water supply, economic development and public works projects on behalf of her clients. She set up shop in 1995, growing LucyCo Communications into a highly successful public relations and public affairs firm. In 2011, she added Scot Crocker as a partner and the pair formed Crocker & Crocker. The agency is the region’s premiere public outreach and public affairs firm due to Lucy’s leadership.

She is always on the forefront of issues that impact key elected officials, stakeholders, community members and business owners. Lucy is committed to stakeholder and community involvement and has spearheaded hundreds of high-level programs in the Sacramento Valley and Northern California. Her work allows community groups and the public to have a say in important projects and programs that affect their lives: reliable water supplies. new bridges. improved levees. public works facilities. And economic development projects.

Lucy began specializing in behavior change outreach in the early 90s. She is the company’s chief outreach strategist for large-scale, comprehensive social marketing causes such as water conservation, flood preparedness, emergency response and solid waste and recycling.

Lucy likes to roll up her sleeves and lead controversial and high-profile projects to successful outcomes through public outreach. She’s done it hundreds of times. Lucy is also the firm’s lead facilitator. She helps with conflict resolution by serving as an unbiased facilitator in small working group situations or in community workshops and forums so they are set up for success and conflicts do not arise. She’s often brought into projects to serve specifically in this role.

She is appointed to the Association of California Water Agencies Communications Committee and chairs the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s Water Resources Committee. She was recently on the West Sacramento and Sacramento Metro Chamber Board of Directors. She is one of the few local women members of the Sacramento chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization, an elite group of business leaders from around the world. She is also chair of the WEAVE Retail Advisory Board which she is credited for founding on behalf of WEAVE.

Every year, she serves on related committees and organizations that benefit water, public works and economic development. Lucy is also a founding member of the Carmichael Water Buffalos. She speaks at conferences throughout the state and is considered a leader within her specialty areas.

In 2015, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Sacramento Public Relations Association and she is credited for winning hundreds of awards for her client programs throughout the years.
As a graduate of the Communications Department at the University of Oregon, she’s a die-hard Ducks football fan.
